MOUNT WAVERLEY SECONDARY COLLEGE ACCESSIBILITY

Project type

EDUCATION - ACCESSABILITY

Mount Waverley Secondary College accessibility upgrades were designed to improve equitable access, movement and inclusion across the school campus.

Commissioned by the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA), the project delivered a range of internal and external accessibility improvements to support students, staff and visitors of all abilities.

Works included upgraded pavements, accessible ramps and walkways, widened doorways, automatic doors and improved circulation spaces designed to strengthen safe and independent movement throughout the campus. An accessible parking space and additional external access improvements further enhanced connectivity between facilities.

The project reflects Design Core Architects’ commitment to inclusive educational environments that support dignity, accessibility and participation for the wider school community.
