OAKLEIGH GRAMMAR REDEVELOPMENT

Design Core Architects has delivered a major seven-stage redevelopment of the Oakleigh Grammar campus, providing upgraded facilities that support contemporary learning and community use. The works included the Library, Administration Offices, Primary Building and Indoor Sports Complex.

Between 2013 and 2014, the practice completed the refurbishment and re-modelling of the Senior Science facilities, a $700,000 project finalised in April 2014. The upgrade modernized the Biology, Chemistry and Physics laboratories, delivering flexible, fit-for-purpose learning environments aligned with current educational standards.

The practice has also delivered a $2,000,000 BER P21 project involving the expansion of an existing childcare Centre, increasing capacity from 50 to 90 children. The project included new children’s rooms, staff and administration facilities, a music room, amenities and storage, along with refurbishment works to the two-storey Primary School building, Library, Administration areas and Assembly Hall.
