TARNEIT URBAN FRAMEWORK

Project type

Urban Design & Precinct Planning

Date

2018–2021

Location

Tarneit, Victoria

Tarneit Urban Framework is a precinct planning and urban design project focused on connectivity, movement networks and long-term community growth surrounding Tarneit Station. The project explores how coordinated urban planning can support a more connected, walkable and activated precinct that responds to future growth, transport integration and evolving community needs.

The framework considers pedestrian movement, public realm activation, transport accessibility and mixed-use development opportunities to strengthen the relationship between infrastructure, built form and everyday public experience. Planning strategies were developed to support long-term adaptability, improved connectivity and a more cohesive urban environment across the broader precinct.

Through integrated land planning and urban design thinking, the project aims to create a more accessible and resilient framework that supports community interaction, economic activity and sustainable urban growth within metropolitan Victoria.
